Psychosocial risk factors among cabin crews

Human resources are, above all, the most valuable asset of an organization. Their preservation and improvement becomes therefore imperative in order to maintain the health and viability of any organization. However, in order to achieve that aim the psychosocial risks inherent to the job characteristics that influence the individual wellbeing and consequently the wellbeing of the organization are not to be disregarded.

The work of cabin crew has specific features concerning the environmental working conditions that take place as well as the physical, cognitive, emotional and relational demands required. It is urgent to evaluate the impact of these factors and their risks on the worker’s health and wellbeing.
